Do I need permission from the local authority when

hiring a skip?
No, provided it is on your own property.

How do I know what size skip I will need?
Please see guide to the right or call us for advice.

Where can the skip be left?
We will leave your skip in the most convenient location which

might be the driveway or the road*. They can also be at business,

office and factory locations.

*Should you require the skip to be cited on a public highway you will

need a permit from your local authority. PJ Skips can obtain a permit

for you. Please let us know at time of booking if you require one.

Do you offer a waste disposal service for builders and

contractors?
Yes we do as we are a licensed and Registered Waste Carrier company.

How much can I put in the skip?
You must not load the skip to a level higher than the top.

Is there anything I cannot put into a skip?
Asbestos, batteries, tyres, fridges and freezers are

not allowed to be loaded onto the skip.
